Terabitz announced the launch of a new iPhone (News - Alert) home search application that allows real estate industry professionals  to access property listings, photos, local neighborhood information, recent sales and driving directions while on the go. 

 

Terabitz, a venture-backed technology company, provides brokers with the tools, content and features they need to position themselves in their respective markets.

 

With this iPhone application, real-estate buyers gain the flexibility to search by city, state, zip, MLS number, price, type of home, and number of bedrooms/bathrooms. The search results can be either mapped or viewed as a text list. With the help of these search results, users can select any home and view various details such as features, photos, history and information about the surrounding neighborhood.

 

The iPhone application also enables the user to contact the agent, e-mail the listing to a friend, and access information about local schools, restaurants and recent comparable sales as well.

Local brokers who offer their customers with this innovative search application feature, makes a difference by offering search option which large national home search sites have no direct feeds to local MLS databases.

 

Intero Real Estate Services is said to be the first Terabitz customer to implement this iPhone search application. The real estate company is offering this service to its Northern California customers and has future plans to implement this technology in other offices as well.

The application is designed to provide information a buyer or agent would want to know about a home, including details about heating and air conditioning, appliances, amenities, landscaping, and architecture.

 

The application also features map data and content, from Tele Atlas (News - Alert), to help users query places and points of interest such as restaurants and schools and then map that data to see where those establishments are located in relation to a specific property.
