National Exterminating Company Picks TeleNav GPS Tracking Systems
National Exterminating Company, which provides a full extermination service to Virginia residents and business owners, has deployed TeleNav’s Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation and tracking solution, TeleNav (News - Alert) Track.
TeleNav Track helps the organizations optimize its mobile workforce operations through GPS-enabled mobile devices. The main features of TeleNav Track include GPS-enabled tracking, times sheets, wireless forms, and navigation. More than 8,000 organizations rely on TeleNav Track to manage their mobile workforces.
TeleNav Track provides effective navigation and tracking to National Exterminating Company’s vehicles that are deployed in different parts of Virginia to delivery pest and termite control services.
By deploying TeleNav Track on the company’s service vehicles, dispatchers can locate them and alert the nearest vehicle to respond to an emergency service request. This facility enables the company to deliver the service without delay. More importantly, it reduces the fuel consumption and labor and increases the lifespan of the company’s vehicles.
Apart from offering on-the-field benefits, TeleNav Track also helps the company to keep a track of the vehicle speed, distance traveled, and the status of the vehicles.
"We originally implemented the TeleNav Track service in an effort to better monitor the distances that our drivers were traveling and the time it was taking them to get there. TeleNav Track far exceeded our expectations," said Ralph Morse, general manager, National Exterminating Company, in a statement.
According to Sal Dhanani, senior director, Marketing, and co-founder of TeleNav, the GPS technology from TeleNav added a revolutionary chapter in the history of TeleNav Track. "In a business where customer service is crucial to success, TeleNav Track provides the workforce management tools companies need to manage growth and improve employee performance and customer satisfaction," said Dhanani.
Recently, Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert), a global growth consulting firm, recognized TeleNav Track with the ‘2008 North American Mobility Award for the Best Mobile Resource Management (MRM) Solution on a Handheld Device.’
TeleNav was the first company to launch a cell phone GPS system in the USA. Headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, it offers services to 21 countries through 15 carriers. TeleNav’s GPS solutions also include asset GPS tracking, social networking, and local search.
