Advisory Board of Distinguished Experts Helps Guide xG Technology By Nathesh
xG Technology, a developer of smart radio technology, has announced plans to form an advisory board of distinguished experts to help guide them as they install their current and future all-IP technologies.
The company said it realized long ago that mobile VoIP would be the technology of the future, and designed an Internet-based, mobile system from the ground up with that in mind. The xMax system addressed the numerous technical hurdles involved with VoIP in order to produce a network that delivers high quality calling at a very low cost.
Officials with the company have stated that they have developed a rich body of patented innovations that can improve digital communications in a wide variety of applications and xG is seeking to guide the commercialization of its intellectual property by calling on esteemed individuals with decades of experience from numerous industry sectors.
The company’s xMax recently received an Internet Telephony (News - Alert) Magazine 2009 Product of the Year Award and is now up and operating as a 30 square mile demonstration network in Ft. Lauderdale.
The company has said that they have sought the most advanced approaches to solving the specific problem of delivering voice and data services in unlicensed spectrum, and developed its technology from the ground up as an Internet-based, all-digital system. Their xMax was developed with the goal of generating lower-cost communications.
xG has deployed a pilot xMax mobile VoIP network in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area where individuals can experience the excellent call quality of the xMax platform at highway speeds and has invited accredited journalists, published telecom analysts, and prospective partners to experience their technology for themselves.
